A sad and sorry statistic is that 47% of apps only get downloaded, on average, 500 times. (Source: Google Play Store, June18 - Sept8, 2014).
500 times, people! Unless your app is extremely targeted (in which case well done you) you've got some work to do.
So what can people do to drive more installs for their mobile apps?
UPTV invited Stefan Rust, CEO of Exicon Global to give some points on how to increase app downloads.
The 5 things to focus on:
1) Be where your app users are.
2) Naming your app properly.
3) App screenshots.
4) App description & category.
5) Rating & reviews.
Watch and learn how to do these 5 things right.
Once you've got this lot handled you can start moving onto the next steps, promotion and advertising.
